Composed by the legendary violinist Nicolò Paganini, the 24 Caprices for solo violin represent the pinnacle of violin virtuosity in the Romantic Era. Published in Milan in 1820, they continue to challenge violinists and exhilarate audiences. The Midtown Concerts audience will have the rare opportunity to hear the Caprices on a period violin with gut strings and a classical bow.
