The Recorder Alone

Virtuoso musician Emily O’Brien explores the ways the recorder may play alone: music with optional bass lines; a single player on multiple parts; and original unaccompanied repertoire. Borrowing from wind and string works of Ortiz, Bach, Bassano, and Boismortier, Emily will also premiere a new piece by Michael O'Brien commemorating our collective emergence from the pandemic.
