Restless Hexachords

Arcadia Viols presents a thought-provoking tour of 17th c. English, German, and contemporary American music. Selections include Dowland’s Lachrimae, Will Ayton’s fantasy on the same, intriguing pieces based on the hexachord, works by Froberger and Scheidt, and the world premiere of Larry Wallach’s Restless Hexachords.
